It's Beltaine, and the day has been absolutely wonderful!

I re-visited my childhood this afternoon: I went on a 'popsicle outing' with my mom and sis, (my mom and I shared two popsicles), and then biked to the park by my old elementary school. It was loads of fun, sliding down the old slides, and climbing the structures. I banged my head though, but I'm okay!

I helped my dad with a bibliography this evening, while burning frankincense, which made my room smell all nice. Now that I feel all peaceful, I think I'll scout around my backyard, looking for a quiet place to *ahem*...ritualize? I don't know...something quiet and simple I think. Once tomorrow rolls around, I will wish everyone a happy May Day! YES! The right month is here! May is the month of sensuality, which fits with what we all feel when we discard our outer layers, and so the double fit makes it extra special...and shall we say, magical?

Happy May Day everyone!

All right, I need to start writing more, so here goes! I'm on this list serve for SpaceWeather.com (among many others), and just recently they sent me this awesome email telling me about a clas "x" flare. Too cool! So check it out here. I love this website because it tells you all about the most randomest stuff, like solar activity (the most recent flare knocked out radio stations for about 10 minutes!), and a particularily cool thing that's going on right now: a comet is breaking apart as it approaches the Sun/Earth.

Yeah, like how wicked is that?

Plus, if you scroll to the very bottom of de page, you can see a list of potentially hazardous asteroids, and the distance they were from Earth. There's no point to it, but it is still really funky!
